Privacy Policy — OnCall

OnCall ("the app") is a voice and video calling application over the internet. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Phone number: used to create and verify your account via an OTP code, and to discover which of your contacts already use the app.
• Display name and profile photo (optional): shown to your contacts during calls.
• Device contacts: we read your contacts' phone numbers to match them against other app users so you can call them. We do not upload your entire address book, and we never sell it.
• Notification token (FCM token): to alert you of incoming calls.
• Call signalling data: temporary technical information (call id, status, participants) needed to connect a call.

Call content

Audio and video during a call are transmitted directly between participants using WebRTC (peer-to-peer where possible). We do not record or store the content of your calls.

How we use data

We use data only to operate the calling service: authentication, contact discovery, connecting calls, and delivering incoming-call notifications. We do not use your data for advertising and do not sell it to third parties.

Service providers

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, and Cloud Messaging) to store account data and relay signalling. These services are governed by Google's privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing us at the address below, and we will delete your account data from our systems.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
